How We’re Funded

Automation Squad earns nothing today, August 2026: no affiliate links, no buy buttons, no display advertising, no sponsored content, no paid placement, no vendor sponsorship.

The short version

Nobody pays us — not vendors, not advertisers, not anyone. The site is independently funded by its publisher while it builds out the research, reviews and tools. There isn’t an affiliate link or a buy button anywhere on Automation Squad, which makes the independence question simple for now: there’s no commission to disclose because there’s no commission.

If that changes

These standards come with any future monetisation, and they’re binding, not aspirational:

  • Monetisation never touches SquadScore™. The formula, weights and bounds are computed from specs. No editorial override, no manual adjustment, no exception for a partner.
  • Every affiliate link is disclosed on the page it appears on— adjacent to the link itself, not only in a policy document you’d have to go looking for — and carries rel="sponsored" per the standard search engines expect.
  • No paid placement in a ranked list. Ever.If a slot in a “best of” list is ever purchasable, this site has failed at its only real job.
  • Sponsored content, if it ever exists, gets labelled as sponsored at the top of the page and is excluded from rankings and scores.

Any change to this page gets logged in the editorial policy before it takes effect, not after.

Our editorial independence

Commercial relationships never influence our rankings. Every tool is scored by our proprietary, quantitative SquadScore™system using vendor-published specifications — the data determines the ranking, not advertising relationships, and we accept no payment for placement or for a higher score. Where our editorial opinion is involved (pros, cons and verdicts) we say so plainly, and we publish criticism of tools that score well when it’s warranted — see how we test.

Accuracy

Specifications and prices are researched from each vendor’s own published pages and may change without notice. Always confirm current pricing and terms with the vendor before you buy. If you spot something out of date, email [email protected] — see the editorial policy for how corrections get handled.
